KuruKuru2X

By nickspoon

I can't believe I neglected to post this, but here it is, on my blog…

KuruKuru2X! It's what I've been working on for the past few weeks, and it's almost ready!

I know that Kuru Kuru Kururin has generated a very large following, despite never being released in the US. I also know that I found it an amazing game. Hence, since I was unable to find a clone of it, I took it into my own hands. The result is this.

Menu. Awesome, no? It all looks very professional, and it's too damn awesome for words. Thanks NoidZ for this!

An in-game shot. Dynamic! The tiles are nice, but the levels are being re-done for awesomeness. Also to be curvy.

Thanks to NoidZ for the graphics, and more when my GP2X arrives (including a beta)!

I am very much interested in playing KuruKuru2X. I played the crap out of Kuru Kuru Kururin on GBA, it seems almost like the perfect game for me… i love dexterity based challenges like this. However, I don’t have a GP2X and I was wondering if you have compiled a version for PC?

I also think this game could be really successfull if it had an open content distribution system… i.e. an accessible map editor. If you look at games like Trackmania Nations, the lifespan of the game has been increased dramatically, due to the popularity of people making and downloading new levels. This is my dream for the perfect kurukuru clone!! a limitless selection of new levels to play :)

If I could code, I would code my own kuru clone, but since I can’t, I did the next best thing which was a google search — and stumbled across yours… so.. please write me back. :)
